THE HAMMONS FAMILY
The Life and Legacy of James E. Hammons

The Life and Legacy of James E. Hammons is about my father, a dedicated, hard working, determined man that set out his life to become the person he wanted to be and was in his life until the end. Born in Elyria, Ohio, James set the stage of his life at an early age for his love and passion for singing, his voice was one of many that stood out to the crowd, with his rare high pitch notes that he sang. James joined and served in the army, stationed in California and later started his career job at Ford's Motor Company Rawsonville Plant in Ypsilanti, MI. James and Toni began their family that was the result of 7 children. Once he accepted the Lord in his life, his life changed for many opportunities, joy and happiness in his life.
